The studios are set in an old world village near Sevenoaks and have been converted from what were the stables and outbuildings of the general stores. The Pottery was established over thirty years ago by Tessa Oates for the production of studio ceramics and has since developed into a centre for the teaching of pottery and clay modelling. Classes are held in a pleasant, noninstitutional rural environment and cater for beginners and those with some experience.
